Split Rim wheels are made up of 2 or 3 pieces which are bolted together to form the complete wheel. The majority of split rim wheels we repair are a 2 piece design which are generally held together with bolts that screw into the rim/drum of the wheel. 3 piece and some 2 piece wheels are held together with bolts that pass through the wheels with a nut on the back to hold the pieces together, this particular design requires sealant to prevent air leaking from the joins in the wheel.
Due to our extensive knowledge we are able to repair both 2 piece and 3 piece wheels, both wheel designs come in various finishes such as fully painted, diamond cut and polished. We are able to offer our customers a variety of finishes for these types of wheels and also supply new replacement parts such as bolts and polished lips.
